Arjen van Opstal (1991) is an artist based in Breda, the Netherlands.After more than a decade as a touring musician, he turned to painting during the pandemic as live music came to an abrupt halt. His currentwork draws from touring across Europe and North America, the indie/punk music scene, the culture, characters, and spaces surrounding it. Working primarily with oil paint, he creates colourful, playful paintings.
